QuickStore
Point-of-Sale has
a built-in training or demonstration mode. Just install a
current version of QuickStore Point-of-Sale
and select "Demo" when prompted to register.
The training and demonstration mode of QuickStore
Point-of-Sale is
available even after registering the program, and it enables
you to try out QuickStore
Point-of-Sale before
you buy it. It is not intended for daily use so some of the
features are limited, but you will be able to see how easy
the program is to use.
If you would like some guidance using the the program, we
suggest you access the on-screen Help by pressing F1 from
any screen in the program.
Training Tutorials Available
QuickStore
Point-of-Sale comes with more than 150 on-screen training
tutorials. The tutorials walk you through each procedure and
operation in QuickStore Point-of-Sale - carefully explaining
how to use the program to perform each task.
On-screen training
tutorials are available by purchasing a $20 Demo Package which
includes the QuickStart Guide and an installation CD-ROM from
Premier Data Systems at 800-286-8929.
Works like a Cash Register (if you want)
QuickStore
Point-of-Sale can be put to use immediately after it's installed
and registered. Even before setting up you inventory (which
is ideal), the program can be used to checkout customers.
It works as fast as a cash register and allows you to start
saving customer information right away. To use the program
like a cash register, select the Invoice button on the Toolbar.
Now enter each item's price into the Scan/Qty field preceded
by an asterisk (i.e. *9.99) and press the <Enter> key.
When
you are done adding items to the Sale,
press the F5-Payment Button and complete the Sale by recording
the method of payment.
